The Steinfeld course at Grazer Golfclub Thalersee is the sister layout to Windhof, sharing the same membership base but offering a noticeably different character. Set in the area west of Graz, Steinfeld plays through tighter corridors defined by established tree lines, rewarding accuracy and course management above all else. The more enclosed nature of this layout creates a distinct challenge compared to the more open Windhof, and the two courses together give the Thalersee club a versatility that keeps the game fresh for regular members. Visiting players who gain access to both courses will find Steinfeld the more demanding test, particularly from the back tees where errant drives are quickly punished.
