North Hants Golf Club

North Hants Golf Club is a distinguished heathland course set near Fleet in Hampshire, at the western edge of the Surrey-Hampshire border heathland belt. The course occupies classic sandy heathland terrain, with heather, gorse and pine framing the holes in a manner typical of the great heathland courses of southern England. North Hants has a long and respected history in English golf, having hosted national amateur championships and produced a number of notable members over the decades. The sandy subsoil ensures excellent drainage and reliable playing conditions throughout the year, making it a particularly appealing venue in wet autumn and winter months. The course demands strategic play and accurate iron work, with the native heathland vegetation penalising wayward shots severely.
