Golf d'Arcangues

Golf d'Arcangues is a beautifully situated course in the Basque village of Arcangues, a hillside hamlet a few kilometres inland from Biarritz that counts among the most picturesque villages in the French Basque Country. The course rolls across the characteristic green hills and bocage of the Basque interior, with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside and, on clear days, towards the Atlantic coast. The undulating terrain creates a variety of uphill, downhill, and sidehill lies that demand adaptability and local knowledge from visiting players. Arcangues is intimate in scale and Basque in character, making it a highly appealing alternative to the grander resort courses nearby. Its village setting, with the historic church and bullring visible from parts of the course, gives it an authenticity that is difficult to replicate.
