Connemara Golf Club

Connemara Golf Club is one of the great links experiences in Ireland, occupying a remote and windswept peninsula on the shores of the Atlantic in Connemara, Co. Galway. The course plays across exposed duneland with the Twelve Bens mountain range visible to the east and the open ocean to the west, creating a sense of elemental isolation that few courses anywhere can replicate. Firm, fast links turf, natural rough of heather and marram grass, and an ever-present Atlantic wind combine to make Connemara a severe and deeply satisfying test. Despite its remoteness, the club draws golfers from around the world who seek out authentic, unspoiled links golf at its most rugged.
