Golfbaan Bentwoud

Golfbaan Bentwoud is located on the edge of the Bentwoud recreational forest, a large new-planted woodland area developed between Zoetermeer and Gouda in South Holland. The forested setting distinguishes Bentwoud from many Dutch courses, which typically sit in open polder or coastal dune terrain. Tree-lined fairways create natural definition and shelter from wind, giving the course a different character to the more exposed layouts found elsewhere in the western Netherlands. The woodland environment also provides attractive scenery throughout the seasons, particularly in autumn. The course serves the golfing communities of Zoetermeer, Gouda, and the surrounding region, combining good accessibility with a playing environment that feels genuinely removed from the urban surroundings despite being only minutes from the city.
