Kavel II Beemster

Kavel II Beemster is set in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Beemster polder of North Holland, one of the oldest and most celebrated examples of Dutch land reclamation, characterised by its precise geometric grid of roads, dykes, and canals dating from the early seventeenth century. Golf in this setting carries an unusual cultural weight: the perfectly rectangular parcels of land and the mathematically ordered landscape give the course a distinctive, almost abstract quality. The flat, wind-exposed terrain challenges players to manage both their ball flight and the subtleties of the polder conditions. A round here is as much a cultural experience as a sporting one.
