Rosendaelsche Golfclub

Netherlands, Netherlands

Rosendaelsche Golfclub is one of the oldest and most celebrated golf clubs in the Netherlands, set on heathland terrain near Arnhem in Gelderland. The course occupies a richly natural environment of heather, sand and woodland that gives it a character more akin to a British heathland layout than a typical Dutch parkland. Founded in the late nineteenth century, the club has nurtured a long tradition of competitive golf and counts itself among the premier members’ clubs in the country. The classic heathland design places a premium on positioning from the tee, with well-bunkered greens and natural rough demanding the full range of a golfer’s skills.
