Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course

Fife & St Andrews, Scotland

Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course is a unique nine-hole layout on the Hill of Tarvit estate near Cupar in central Fife, owned and managed by the National Trust for Scotland. Players are invited to use hickory-shafted clubs from a collection provided on site, recreating the experience of golf as it was played in the early twentieth century. The course is set on attractive open ground with views across the Fife countryside, and its relatively short layout is well suited to the hickory game. It is one of very few heritage golf experiences of this kind in Scotland, attracting golfers with a passion for the history of the game as well as those simply seeking a novel and enjoyable round in a remarkable country house setting.
