Woodlands Country Club

Skåne, Sweden

Woodlands Country Club is a 27-hole facility set in forested, hilly terrain near Örkelljunga in northern Skåne, roughly 20 minutes from Helsingborg. The original 18 holes — Cedar and Pine loops — were laid out by Swedish architect Hans Fock and wind through a beautiful woodland landscape dotted with lakes and a stream. A third nine, the Magnolia loop, was added in 2010. The three nines can be combined in various pairings, giving members and visitors considerable variety. Cedar measures around 2,789 metres from the back tees, Pine slightly longer at 3,015 metres, with water coming into play on both circuits. The hilly, forested terrain demands accurate placement throughout, as errant shots quickly find trees or water. The club also operates a golf academy and offers on-site accommodation, making it a self-contained destination for golf packages in the region.
