Forsbacka Golfklubb

Forsbacka Golfklubb is an 18-hole parkland and forest course laid out around Forsbackasjön, just west of Åmål in Västra Götaland. The front nine play across open, park-style terrain where generous fairways are regularly threatened by water hazards, demanding composed iron play and accurate course management. The back nine shift the mood entirely, threading through dense woodland where tight lines and precise placement off the tee become the dominant challenge. A white 18th-century manor house serves as the clubhouse, offering a restaurant with views across the lake and several holes. The contrast between the two nines gives the round a satisfying variety that rewards repeat visits, and the natural surroundings along the lakeshore create a setting that feels notably removed from the pressures of everyday life.
