Hökensås Golfklubb

Hökensås Golfklubb is set in the wooded highlands of the Hökensås plateau in Västergötland, one of the more elevated and distinctly forested regions of southern Sweden. The course makes natural use of the mature pine and mixed woodland that covers this upland area, with fairways cut through the trees to create a layout that demands precision and course management above all else. The surrounding nature reserve adds to the sense of playing deep within Swedish wilderness, a feeling quite different from parkland courses in the lowlands. The club attracts visitors drawn both to the golf and to the outdoor character of the Hökensås area, which is popular for walking and nature activities.
