Lidköpings Golfklubb

Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden

Lidköpings Golfklubb is an 18-hole parkland course situated close to the shores of Lake Vänern in Västra Götaland, one of Sweden's largest and most scenic lakes. The course underwent significant redesign by architect Peter Chamberlain between 2012 and 2015, resulting in a sharper, more strategic layout that rewards precise iron play and deliberate course management. Fairways are generally generous from the tee but approach zones demand accuracy, and the overall quality of conditioning has risen since the renovation. The club is well-established in the Lidköping area, which is known as the gateway to Kinnekulle — a distinctive table mountain and protected area offering cultural as well as natural interest to golf visitors combining a round with exploration of western Sweden.
