Lycke Golf & Countryclub

Lycke Golf and Country Club occupies a stretch of Bohuslän coastline near Tofta Manor, roughly halfway between Gothenburg and the Norwegian border. The 18-hole course was designed to make intelligent use of the estate's sea-view terrain, with fairways weaving between parkland and more open coastal ground, and sea views visible from a significant portion of the layout. Water hazards feature on the back nine, where the course tightens and demands more precise approach play. The course plays to just over 6,000 metres from the back markers and hosts a longer playing season than many Swedish inland clubs owing to the milder coastal microclimate. The combination of seaside setting, manor house surroundings, and well-maintained conditioning makes Lycke one of the more distinctive golf destinations in western Sweden.
