Waxholms Golfklubb

Stockholm and Gothenburg, Sweden

Waxholms Golfklubb is a substantial 18-hole championship course in Vaxholm, Stockholm County, situated a short drive from the capital and known for its considerable length from the back markers — placing it among the longer layouts in Sweden. The course, designed by Tommy Nordström, plays to par 73 and stretches to over 6,600 metres at full extent across a parkland and open terrain mix. An extensive bunker programme and a signature par-3 hole requiring a precise carry over water provide technical variety throughout. A separate 9-hole par-3 course is also on site. Vaxholm is a historic archipelago town and a popular summer destination north of Stockholm, giving the golf visit a pleasantly scenic setting within easy reach of the city.
