Winterberg Golf & Academy

Winterberg Golf and Academy offers a nine-hole course on a plateau between Zurich, Kloten and Winterthur, making it one of the most conveniently situated clubs in the greater Zurich area. The layout plays to a par of 35 and was designed by John Chilver-Stainer with wide, well-maintained fairways and immaculate greens. Water hazards, bunkers and natural biotopes are used throughout to create interest and difficulty without resorting to excessive length. The relatively flat terrain makes the course accessible to golfers at all levels, while the plateau position opens up views of the surrounding Alpine panorama. A comprehensive academy and practice infrastructure sit alongside the course, and beginners may play without a Platzreife certificate.
