Solheim Cup 2026 attendance: forecast versus confirmed total
The pre-event forecast must not be presented as a final attendance count.
Editorial correction — 5 October 2026: factual errors and unsupported claims in the earlier version have been corrected. The original publication date is retained.
Before the 2026 Solheim Cup, Golf Monthly reported an expectation of around 80,000 spectators from 40 countries. That was a forecast, not a verified final attendance total.
The matches took place at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt, the Netherlands, on 11–13 September. The earlier version’s reference to Flanders Fields was incorrect.
We have not verified a final audited attendance figure. The pre-event estimate should therefore remain labelled as an estimate.
