GAEA Golf de Lancieux
Brittany, France
GAEA Golf de Lancieux is a 9-hole links-style course on Brittany's Emerald Coast, opened in 2005 and designed by Stuart Hallett. Playing to a par 36 over 2,666 metres, it occupies a scenic position between the bays of Saint-Jacut and Saint-Briac, within easy reach of Dinan, Dinard and Saint-Malo. The course benefits from sweeping estuary and sea views, most dramatically from hole 8 where Cap Fréhel is visible on the horizon. The terrain has a genuine coastal character — open, firm, and wind-affected — making it a different test from Brittany's parkland alternatives. A pitch-and-putt accompanies the main course, and the club's welcoming atmosphere makes it popular with both local members and visitors using the northern coast of Brittany as a golf base.
