Golf des Abers

Brittany, France

Golf de Brest les Abers sits at the western extremity of Finistère, where the granite landscape meets the Atlantic in a terrain unlike anything else in Brittany. This 18-hole, par-70 course measures 5,187 metres and was built in 1991 in Plouarzel, just a few kilometres from the coast. The layout integrates seamlessly with the native bocage, and from holes 8, 9 and 10 players enjoy sweeping views across to the Ouessant and Molène islands on clear days. The combination of granite outcrops, gorse, and open coastal light gives the course a distinctly Finistèrian character. A pitch-and-putt supplement and covered practice bays round out a complete facility. For golfers exploring the far west of Brittany, Les Abers is the natural first port of call.
