Düsseldorfer Golf Club

Rhine-Ruhr, Germany

The Düsseldorfer Golf Club, with roots going back to 1961, is one of the oldest established clubs in the Düsseldorf metropolitan area, its course laid out near Ratingen in 1963. The 18-hole parkland layout plays to par 71 across some 5,780 yards and has the settled, mature character that comes from decades of careful stewardship. Tree-lined fairways, traditional bunkering and well-paced greens create a course that rewards consistent iron play and an intelligent short game over power. Around a thousand members keep the club active throughout the year, and visiting golfers are welcomed on most days of the week provided they carry a handicap certificate. The location just east of Düsseldorf makes it an easy combination with a city break.
