Märkischer Golfclub Hagen occupies a quiet corner of the Wannebach valley, a tributary of the Lenne river in the hilly eastern reaches of the Ruhr region. Founded in 1965, the nine-hole course at par 38 covers just under 3,000 metres of gently undulating ground shaped by the natural topography of the Sauerland foothills.
