Costa Navarino - The Hills Course

The Hills Course is one of two signature layouts designed by two-time Masters champion José María Olazábal at Navarino Hills, part of Costa Navarino near Pylos in Messinia, on the Peloponnese in Greece. Opened in 2022, this inland 18-hole, par-72 course measures around 6,350 metres and unfolds across rolling, rural terrain overlooking the Bay of Navarino. True to its name, it has a more pastoral, countryside character, weaving among olive groves and the natural contours of the land so that the holes feel drawn from the setting rather than imposed upon it. Elevation changes and the open Messinian landscape shape the strategy throughout, rewarding players who read the slopes and commit to their lines. As an Olazábal design, it blends strategic interest with a strong sense of place, offering a quieter, earthier counterpart to its companion course among the hills above the bay.
