Golf Club Montreux

Aigle, Lake Geneva & Valais, Switzerland

Golf Club Montreux, based in Aigle at the eastern end of Lake Geneva, is one of the oldest clubs in Switzerland, tracing its origins to a founding by English residents at the turn of the 20th century. The 18-hole parkland course sits on flat terrain at the foot of the Vaud Alps, where the combination of mature specimen trees, sculpted doglegs and strategically positioned bunkers demands a thoughtful approach throughout. A renovation in the early 2000s refreshed the layout while preserving its classic character. The mild microclimate of the Chablais allows the course to remain open year-round, a rarity in this part of Switzerland. Visiting golfers are welcome.
