Golf des Ormes
Brittany, France
Golf des Ormes is an 18-hole, par-72 course of 5,822 metres set within the 200-hectare Domaine des Ormes estate near Dol-de-Bretagne, between Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel. Designed by Antoine d'Ormesson and inaugurated in 1989, the course weaves through wooded parkland with water hazards, flowerbeds, and a château backdrop that give each hole a distinctive aesthetic. The layout balances technical challenge with variety, producing a round that suits a broad range of handicaps without compromising on interest for the better player. The Domaine is a comprehensive resort — accommodation, spa, outdoor activities — making it a self-contained destination for a multi-day stay. The location, on the historic Breton marches close to the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, adds considerable appeal.
