Old Course

The Old Course at St Andrews is the most celebrated golf course in the world, the ancient ground across which the modern game took shape over several centuries. Stretching along the Eden Estuary on the northern edge of the town, its famous features — the Road Hole, the Valley of Sin, the Swilcan Bridge, the shared fairways, the massive double greens — are familiar to every serious golfer regardless of whether they have played the course.
