Golf de Saint-Aubin

Paris Region, France

Golf Bluegreen Saint-Aubin, located in the commune of Saint-Aubin in the Essonne department of the Paris Region, holds the distinction of being the first public golf course to open in France, inaugurated in 1974. The facility welcomes more than 70,000 visitors annually and offers a multi-course structure unique in Île-de-France: a compact 6-hole track for beginners, a 9-hole course of 1,785 metres, and the full 18-hole par 70 layout measuring 5,502 metres that forms the centrepiece of the site. The 18-hole course is designed to accommodate all abilities while still providing a worthwhile challenge for the experienced player, with water and varied terrain keeping rounds interesting. An extensive driving range with targets, short-game practice areas, and a coherent progression from the 6-hole to the full course make Saint-Aubin an exemplary venue for both introducing newcomers to the game and for regular play in the southwestern Paris suburbs.
