Golf National

Golf National is France's foremost public golf complex, home to the Albatros course that hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup in Guyancourt, Yvelines, Paris Region, 35 kilometres south-west of the capital. The flagship Albatros stretches 6,703 metres at par 72 and was designed by Hubert Chesneau in a links-influenced style, with water hazards, severe rough and exposed fairways that create one of Europe's most demanding tests. The complex also includes the 18-hole Aigle course and the 9-hole Oiselet layout, catering to a range of abilities. Managed by the French Golf Federation, Golf National hosts the Open de France and functions as a national training centre. The Albatros is open to golfers with a handicap up to 28, making this high-profile Ryder Cup venue genuinely accessible to visiting players.
